How to Rearrange Pages in a PDF

Pages end up in the wrong order more often than they should: a stack fed into the scanner backwards, a merged file assembled in the wrong sequence, a report whose summary belongs up front. Reordering by page number is guesswork — the reliable way is to see every page and drag it where it belongs.

Open the page organizer

Step by step

  1. Open the organizer and choose your PDF — every page renders as a thumbnail on your device.
  2. Drag pages into the right order. The grid always shows the document you're about to produce.
  3. Rotate or delete stray pages in the same pass with each tile's buttons.
  4. Apply changes and download the rebuilt file.

Tips that save a retry

  • A stack scanned in reverse? Drag the last page first and work backwards — or split, reverse mentally, and re-merge for very long documents.
  • On a phone, drag works with touch; tap selects for extraction instead.

Questions
