How to Convert CSV or Excel to PDF
Spreadsheets are for working with data; PDFs are for handing it over. Price lists, attendance sheets, transaction exports — the moment data leaves your hands it should be fixed, paginated and printable, which is exactly what a PDF table is.
And spreadsheet data is often the most sensitive thing on your machine — the conversion below happens entirely in your browser.
Step by step
- Export or save your data as .csv for exact fidelity (every spreadsheet app can), or use the .xlsx directly for a values-only conversion of the first sheet.
- Open the tool and drop the file in.
- The rows are laid out with a bold header row; tables wider than six columns switch to landscape automatically.
- Download the PDF and check long cells — extremely wide content is truncated with an ellipsis rather than overlapping.
Tips that save a retry
- CSV is the high-fidelity path: what's in the file is what's in the table.
- Trim unused columns before converting — fewer columns means a larger, more readable font.
Questions
Do Excel colours, formulas and charts convert?
No — the .xlsx path converts the first sheet's values only, and the tool says so before you convert. For styled sheets, your spreadsheet app's own PDF export preserves the look.
