How to Convert Text to PDF
Plain text is perfect for writing and terrible for submitting: no pagination, font at the mercy of whoever opens it, and some portals won't accept .txt at all. Converting to PDF fixes the presentation without a word processor in the loop.
Step by step
- Open the tool and paste your text, or load a .txt file.
- Pick a font family — serif reads like a letter, monospace suits logs and code — and a size.
- Create the PDF. Text wraps at the margins and flows across as many A4 pages as needed.
- Download, and merge with other PDFs if it's part of a bigger submission.
Tips that save a retry
- Blank lines in your text become paragraph spacing in the PDF — format with line breaks, not spaces.
- For anything already in Word format, the Word-to-PDF tool preserves paragraphs better.

No — the PDF is generated inside your browser. Paste sensitive text freely.
Does Markdown formatting render?
Not yet — .md files convert as literal text. Markdown rendering is on the roadmap.
